Punk in Album Draft

Punk is up-tempo but never huge on the charts, so it is a good Opener and a natural Deep Cut. Do not expect number ones here.

Which slots Punk fills

• The Opener (track 1): it counts as up-tempo.
• Lead Single (track 3) and The Closer (track 12) want your biggest songs, whatever the genre. No Punk song is big enough.
• Deep Cut (track 9) wants your smallest song. 27 Punk songs qualify.

Albums score higher when they use fewer genres and more decades, so Punk works best as one of two or three genres spread across several eras. How scoring works.
